Screw school… I need to figure out a way to get on track and get my study on.
So I went to Bookman’s the other day and I saw the anime X/1999 on sale. I don’t remember who told me about this anime, but I remember watching part of it when I was in 5th grade? maybe 6th? I don’t remember.. But anyways I bought X/1999 movie and X/1999 Chapter 1 dvds just to see how it is. Once I started watchign the series, I thought it was the coolest thing alive. Basically the storyline is about two different groups that either want to save the world, or distroy the world inorder for a fresh new start. Technically both sides are correct, but of course the anime wants you to side w/ the people saving the world. I thought that was crazy interesting until the end. The movie sucked compared to the tv series. It had the typical superohero ending… BUT the end of the tv series had somethign to do w/ sacrifice. The same way Jesus died on the cross for us. The same way for the world to continue on as they are, Jesus had to sacrifice His life for us so that we may be saved. Thats beautiful.
