NEVER backing down, NEVER quitting

I read this off of my friend Ryan’s blog:

“You know that episode of the Simpsons where Bart destroys Lisa’s giant tomato right before the science fair, then Lisa decides to test whether Bart is dumber than a hamster? There’s that one scene where Lisa connects a cupcake to a battery with a little sign warning “DO NOT TOUCH.” Predictably enough, Bart decides to touch. Little guy grabs the cup cake, hoping for a blissful taste of pastry-dom, and he gets shocked. Blinded by the allure of frosting and highly refined sugars, he grabs it again, and again, and again until the experience has left him a traumatized husk of a man, driven to assuming the fetal position and quivering in fear at the mere prospect of touching a cupcake.”

thats how i am exactly with a lot of things. People tell me things like don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t date this girl, don’t date that girl, this girl isn’t good for you, you deserve better than her, blah blah blah. and i know its true and all… but for some reason… my dumbass keeps doing the opposite.
